Job Description:

Designs, modifies, develop, writes, test, troubleshoot and implement software programming applications and enhancements to data systems with high transaction volumes and large data structures. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
• Translates detailed design into computer software.
• Performs software development in C/C++ for multiple platforms (Linux/Windows)
• Performs Unit, System Integration and Customer Acceptance Testing.
• Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
• Works effectively with multiple team members in diverse roles to develop and enhance applications and systems.
• Supports new and existing applications.

Required Skills:

• or be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience in the following:
• 6+ years experience with C, C++, experience with UNIX Scripting (Bash is preferred).
• Experience with code repository tool (GitHub is preferred).
• Experience with these platforms: Windows Visual Studio, SUSE Linux.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Address Matching/CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System) rules.
• Experience with OCI, Oracle SQL.
• Experience with Java development and web services.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Adept at planning and organization.
• Self-motivated and quick, adaptive learner.
• Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
