Position is fully remote.

• Top skillsets sought: Revenue and Clinical Data Model certifications in Epic and the ability to build Slicer Dicer filters, Radar Dashboards and metrics, Cogito SQL reports.
• The Senior Cogito Developer will join the Cogito Product team within the Data and Analytics team in the Center for Healthcare Quality and Analytics, and will be responsible for empowering users with Epic-based data across the institution, providing a unique blend of clinical, business, technical, and analytical expertise.
• The Cogito Product team oversees the development and utilization of Epic reporting tools throughout the enterprise to drive strategic initiatives, improve safety & quality of care, and streamline operations.
• The team combines business knowledge with data and technology to empower decision makers and believes that user-friendly, self-service, embedded analytics products can improve patient outcomes, optimize processes, and reduce costs.

• The individual will need to build relationships with key stakeholders, be an expert in multiple Epic data sources, and implement sustainable solutions.

• The analyst must be comfortable with mentorship and partnering with the Cogito Product and other teams within the Data and Analytics group.

1.Individual Contributor
Guides clinical teams and business stakeholders on large scope projects: gathering requirements, developing metrics, retrieving data, ensuring validity of results, and building out the appropriate Epic tool for the end-user.
Proposes and creates innovative and appropriate data solutions (dashboards, reports, etc) for the measurement of processes and outcomes
Adept at learning new information systems and how the data generated contributes to the data development lifecycle
Advises on new Slicer Dicer data models, testing frameworks, and documentation and build practices
Works with Cogito Product Team to periodically upgrade the Epic system
Demonstrates excellent data storytelling skills through outstanding presentation and communication to share findings in an understandable and actionable manner tailored to audience and customer's needs
