Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function at a high degree of proficient execution with little to no oversight (self-starter). Ability to work and define a DevOps strategy in an Agile development environment Building deployment models, leading with a continuous improvement mindset. Targeting efficiency, automation and ROI Create Installation Requirement Documents for applications deployed. Responsible for all application deployments to multiple environments (development, testing, staging, and production) on a scheduled release calendar. Analyze hardware capacities of build infrastructure and provide recommendations to the Management team for improvements. Setup server and application configuration automation using Infrastructure as Code. Target CI/CD with full build automation tasks. Anticipate, identify, and recommend solutions for operational problems by monitoring system performance and studying operating targets. Troubleshoot critical application and configuration issues in coordination with development teams. Provide after-hours on-call deployment support and handle advanced support issues. Build/Enhance automated interfaces between tools, such as repositories/ticketing tools/testing tools, to build baseline management databases and interfaces as well Required: 4 years+ of experience working in DevOps and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Strong skills in communication, both written and verbal. Required experience with Terraform in AWS and experience with source control systems using BitBucket or AWS CodeDeploy. · CI/CD using Jenkins and Sonar Type (Nexus Repo); strong knowledge of branching and merging strategies. Experience with scripting automation using Python, Terraform, and Bash. Experience with software application delivery of Java, NodeJS AngularJS and Web API applications in an AWS environment.
