Job DescriptionJob Description Akkodis is seeking aSr. FSE for a Contract job with a client in Austin, TX (Remote). Responsibilities include frontend development with VueJS, backend development with Java and Spring Boot in AWS, and implementing microservices and RESTful APIs. Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Sr. FSE job responsibilities include: Frontend development using the VueJS framework. Backend development with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs in an AWS environment. Handling state management with VueX and integrating GraphQL for API development. Designing and developing microservices to ensure scalability and efficiency. Writing unit tests using Junit and Jmock to ensure code reliability. Evaluating new technologies and vendor products to enhance app performance. Conducting code reviews, merging code, and promoting best practices. Ensuring security compliance with the latest standards and maintaining system security. Recommending enhancements to improve app performance, efficiency, and reliability. Automating processes to improve predictability and scalability. Desired Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a focus on VueJS and Java.
