Blue Rose is seeking a Sr. Java Developer to support our work with a federal client in Columbia, MD. This is a remote role and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY (not dual citizens). Candidates will be required to have an Active Secret security clearance or above. In this role you will: Be responsible for leading the design and development of multiple applications for a large-scale Federal IT Program using Java/Spring based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment Be responsible for developing Java/Spring solutions, as well as leading team(s) of software developers in implementing solutions and conducting detailed design reviews Candidates must have: 8+ years of hands-on development experience, including at least 6+ years of Java/Spring development experience Significant experience with developing applications using the Java Spring framework Experience using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git) 3 years of work experience with Web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, JSP, etc.) 3 years of experience in developing using Agile Scrum methodologies Preferred Requirements: 6+ years of Java development experience in order to build enterprise applications 3+ years developing enterprise solutions using the Java Spring framework Detailed understanding of database schema design/SQL Thorough understanding and experience in developing using agile scrum methodologies 6+ years of experience with using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git) Experience leading a team of developers for a large-scale Federal IT program Education: High School dipoloma or higher Salary: $, Dependent of Experience
