A top government integrator is seeking a Sr. Power Apps Developer to support a large health program in Rockville, MD in a Remote capacity.

About the opportunity:

• Location: Remote (local to DMV area)


• Contract Length: Full-time - open-ended contract.


• Hours: Core business hours - EST Hours.

Responsibilities:

The Sr. Power Apps Developer will:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions to enhance the client's operational efficiency and data management capabilities


• Design and develop custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps


• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications


• Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 services and third-party systems


• Implement and maintain data connections, workflows, and automation using Power Automate


• Ensure the security and compliance of Power Apps solutions in accordance with client policies and regulations


• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power Apps applications


• Conduct training sessions and create documentation to empower users to effectively utilize Power Apps


• Stay updated with the latest Power Apps features and best practices to continuously improve the application environment

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship required - must pass federal background investigation for a Public Trust


• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field


• Proven experience as a Power Apps Developer or similar role


• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and related technologies


• Experience with data integration and management using Microsoft Dataverse, SQL, or SharePoint


• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Power Fx


• Solid understanding of application security and compliance best practices


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members

Desired Skills:

• Power Platform Developer Associate or similar certification


• Experience working with government clients or in a regulated environment


• Knowledge of Fed Health customer's mission and research initiatives


• Experience supporting in the Federal space
