About the Position:
TJFACT is seeking to hire a well-versed Sr. Power Platform Developer (Remote) to support the DHS ICE in Washington, DC.
The Collaborative Services team serves to help ICE achieve its collaborative goals through as a robust collaboration platform that empowers agency users to support the ICE mission. This position will support an enterprise SharePoint Online implementation that is used to support ~30,000 end users as well as adjacent services in M365 such as Power App forms, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports. In addition to demonstrating deep technical skills, the candidate will be expected to have experience with requirements definition, system and site design, source code testing, and must be able to assist with managing a continuous integration process for all developed solutions. The candidate is expected to contribute to the development standards and guidelines for all development targeting the related ICE platforms/environments. The candidate will also contribute to the technical direction of the platforms and assist in determining the adoption of new technologies as needed to support existing and emerging requirements from the government.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Gathering requirements from customers and creating associated documentation
Support the creation, configuration, maintenance, and support of ICE Collaborative Services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Planner for 30,000+ ICE employees.
Provide ongoing solution configuration, customization, and administration for ICE projects within the Collaborative Services domain.
Support for existing and potential systems, while expanding operational models and considering new technologies and hosting options.
Assist with M365 Operations & Maintenance (O&M) by migrating data to SharePoint, modernizing SharePoint components, and supporting InfoPath migration to PowerApps.
Manage Agile software development teams responsible for high productivity and secure solutions, including CI/CD, governance, and customer outreach.
Oversee custom applications in the Microsoft Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment and support their lifecycle management.
Provide helpdesk, training, governance, administration, and innovation/research for CCSS/M365 applications.
Collaborate with ICE teams to create SES PWP digitized forms and modernized reimbursement automations to streamline and enhance business processes.
Maintain and improve OFM Online and support Non-Detained Management Division (NDMD) tasks, including predictive trend analysis and automation improvement.
Working with developers to estimate and build solutions
Leading projects through agile development methodologies
Working with the team and other project managers to plan the direction of project initiatives
Leading team in analysis and governance of expansion to new technologies
Mentoring more junior members of the team
Working administratively to ensure policies/security of project and contract
Performing other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
U.S. Citizenship.
Bachelor's degree, plus a minimum of 6 years of applicable experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must possess M365 and SharePoint technical experience including troubleshooting/problem-solving skills
Experience supporting cross-functional teams in complex system implementation and integration projects
Ability to work in a demanding and deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Agile development experience
Proven experience to lead work and provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for SharePoint Online and Power Platform (notably Power Apps form design/development, Power Automate Flow creation)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with TFS/Azure DevOps, JIRA or a similar story tracking tool
Experience with SharePoint Online, Teams, and Microsoft Dynamics
Experience with emerging Microsoft Power Platform capabilities (e.g. Copilot Studio, Power Pages, etc.)
