Tier One Technologies is looking for a Sr. SAP Project Manager for our US Government client.
This will be a 100% remote Contract-to-Hire position.
Must be a US citizen.
SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
Take projects from the original concept through final implementation.
Interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
Define project scope and objectives.
Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
Manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team.
Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Work on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s).
Oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline is preferred.
10+ years of experience in Project Management or related field, preferably in the area of software application development and/or related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Strong knowledge in SAP HCM HR modules including OM/PA, eCareer, EHS ect.
Proficiency in SDLC practices.
Expertise in facilitating Agile teams.
Prior liaison experience between business and technical teams.
Ability to re-prioritize work based on changing business priorities
SOX Controls & Compliance experience is a plus,
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
