Job Title:Sr. Software Engineer
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Location: 100% Remote
- AWS Services (cloud formation and cloud watch)
- Data pipelines
- Looking for a combination of data engineer/software engineer and machine learning background
- Need Github, Python, SQL, Typescript, Docker Kubernates
- Remote is fine - prefer hybrid
Qualifications:
Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience)
6+ years work experience or equivalent experience.
Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred.
Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required.
Proficiency with database applications, knowledge of mainframe, distributed and/or web programming language.
Basic leadership and presentation skills required. Excellent time management skills preferred. Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with both It and non-IT partners.
Responsibilities:
Independently conducts analysis and development, requirements, coding, automated testing, debugging, designing, documentation, quality assurance review, implementation and maintenance.
Understand and make well-reasoned design decisions and trade-offs.
Demonstrate independence working in more than one software development layer of the solution.
Participate in technical design of features.
