Summary: This position be responsible for contributing to the creation of innovative solutions to complex business problems within Lazer Tech. The Senior Software Engineer I will work on products delivered to various internal and external clients. Primary responsibilities include the development of technical and process solutions for both front-end and back-end. Because of the close interaction with business customers and supporting IT teams, the Senior Software Engineer I will require an understanding of requirements analysis, technical design, engineer high quality software stack, and testing support. Key Responsibilities: Develop specified front-end and/or back-end application components or enhancements as needed to help enable business growth and improve customer satisfaction Deliver technical solutions that are maintainable, scalable, reliable, and secure, for projects leveraging agile project management methodologies Ensure code quality through unit testing and collaboration with quality engineers Work collaboratively with IT teams, business functions, external vendors, and contract resources to deliver project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner Participate in scrum ceremonies and ability to understand and implement Azure DevOps pipeline Provide estimates for time/effort for assigned product development tasks and projects Complete assigned development tasks within project deadlines based on prior estimation and research Establish working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects Follow and improve delivery process #LI-Remote Pay Range: 125000.00-140000.00 , General Benefits: Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in software development, a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related engineering field is a plus Ability to work successfully in a remote team environment Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing, with various team members in roles that are both technical and non-technical Deep experience with software development tools, methodologies, and cloud native technologies, including Azure DevOps, GitHub, Swagger, Postman, CI/CD Strategies Proficient knowledge of popular programming languages, modern web languages, and frameworks, including C# .NET, Angular, JavaScript, Typescript and T-SQL Ability to architect solutions of medium-to-high complexity and present them for alignment and approval Creativity and problem-solving skills including the ability to identify issues, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis Passion for technology and willingness to explore and adopt emerging technologies for practical business purposes Ability to identify different ways to implement a solution and knowledge of how to balance the tradeoffs to choose the correct option (Ex: security vs. usability) Ability to articulate and explain coding decisions and collaborate with other technical and non-technical team members around solutions Ability to maintain an upbeat, positive attitude while working with an agile team to develop innovative technical solutions Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines May perform other job duties as assigned We are an equal opportunity employer.
