Position Title: Software Engineer Sr [*IBM Business Rule Engine (BRE), Java, Spring boot, MySQL/Oracle Database]

Location: 100% Remote

Hire: Contract (12 months+)

Payrate: 65/hr on W2

Summary:

Responsible for writing programs to maintain and control computer systems software for operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. Responsible for creating the software platform, and then fine-tuning the final program after it has been made.

Job Responsibilities:

• Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
• Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
• Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
• Advise customer about, or perform, maintenance of software system.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1.Modernize the payments platform by refactors/creating new code in *IBM Business Rule Engine (BRE) /Java/Oracle/MySQL as needed, be organized, be present and participate in crew ceremonies, identify and call out potential risk as needed.

1. Code software and facilitating testing, (New code mainly in Java and BRE).
2. This resource will be shared across 4 crews as need for BRE development and testing
