About The Role:

CrowdStrike Falcon is a two-component security product. One component is the sensor, installed on endpoint client systems that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon cloud. The Cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer's network and can correlate malicious behavior across multiple machines, presenting our customers' operations teams with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments.

Join CrowdStrike and become a key contributor in building the most innovative endpoint security solution in the world. Our Sensor Development Experience team is responsible for creating, building and optimizing the pipelines and tools that create and validate our sensor.

As a Senior Engineer on our Lab team, you will be expected to contribute significantly to the architecture of software interoperability projects related to ongoing sensor validation. Our lab teams' duties include understanding the development and test processes across multiple platforms. The team implements solutions to ensure the validation matches real-world expectations.

What You'll Do:
  • Contribute to the design of the architecture of the Sensor Development Experience (SDX) Lab validation software.
  • Build tools and applications that cover software interoperability testing of our sensor product in real world customer-related scenarios.
  • Create robust technical solutions on the Sensor Development Experience (SDX) development team including contributing to test automation strategies, designing and coding.
  • Troubleshooting complex environments, software integrations and issues related to sensor reliability.
  • Support sensor release teams and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams in various locations.


What You'll Need:
  • Proven history of architecting and building test tools on various platforms such as Windows, Linux or Mac
  • Advanced knowledge of Python across multiple operating systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Jenkins pipelines and scripting or similar tools
  • Advanced knowledge of product quality strategies including manual testing, automation, white or black box testing at massive scale
  • Ability to collaborate, partner, and work effectively in a distributed team

  • Strong background in scalable, light-weight and high performing systems
  • Familiarity and experience with Agile process
  • Knowledge and expertise in the cyber-security landscape
