Structural Engineer

Location: Henley on Thames

Emtech are working with a successful Civil & Structural Engineer consultancy with 100 staff who are looking for a Structural Engineer with 2-5 years experience for their team in Henley.

The Henley office has 50 staff based there and a structural team of 20 people working across a range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Education, Historical Buildings, Hotel & Leisure and more.

An aspirant working towards Chartership would be preferred but is not essential. This role represents an excellent opportunity for someone with talent and drive to be part of our existing team which an accredited IStructE Chartership scheme in place.

Ideally you will have some of the below experience:

• A BEng or MEng in Civil / Structural Engineering or Engineering Design
• You should have experience in multi-storey RC frame design alongside a variety of other materials
• The ability to design to British Standards or Eurocodes
• Experience with our computer software is desirable - notably TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS
• Experience across several sectors, ideally including residential. Projects are in a range of materials across the commercial, educational, residential, health and leisure sectors
