SUMMARY
Under general direction, serves as a System Administrator with a focus on cloud administration; maintains a consistent cloud design, supports and maintains the azure infrastructure, participates in complex systems infrastructure upgrades, enhancements, conversions and troubleshooting; serves as an internal technical lead on cloud based platforms; manages external field services; ensures internal and external resources complete projects to meet organization time, budget, quality requirements, and above all, advocates for the organization. This role is remote.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop strategy for Azure services
Work with Vendors and IT team to design Cloud-Based solutions
Oversee Enterprise-wide Cloud Compute and Storage
Oversee Enterprise-wide Cloud Networks
Oversee Enterprise-wide Cloud Security
Ensure all cloud resources are patched for critical security issues
Manage 3rd party resources and managed services for Cloud Web
Serve as organization Project Manager for Cloud related projects
Manage and execute maintenance and hardware lifecycle plans
Research and guide the adoption of Cloud Services
Manage Engagement and Adoption of our Cloud services
Lead Incident Reduction
Facilitate system upgrades
Create and maintain Knowledge Base Articles
Create and maintain System Documentation
Demonstrate Effective Team Communication
Handle Escalations
Follow all SOPs
Troubleshoot systems at a detail and a conceptual level
Manage network portion of business continuance testing
Excellent Customer Service
Manage customer expectations
Advocate for the customer
100% ticket documentation
Understand the role of IT in supporting our business partners
Meet SLAs on incident response
Provide after-hours support
TRAINING and/or CERTIFICATIONS
Windows Server
Azure Administrator
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, and three to five years of experience.
All benefits are effective on day 1 of employment.
