About the Role:
In this multifaceted role, the Systems Integration Engineer plays a key technical role in DistillerSR solution project delivery. This role develops and delivers seamless integrations of our SaaS solution with customers' tech stacks, contributing significantly to customers' anticipated ROI.
The ideal candidate is a skilled developer and has the expertise to be creative and take an innovative approach to problem-solving within regulated environments. With excellent communication skills, integrity, and a drive to help others, this role will play a key role in shaping customer solutions and troubleshooting complex integration issues.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work with clients and Professional Services colleagues on configuration projects, managing expectations and ensuring customer satisfaction
Able to develop and deploy scripts and web-based utilities that leverage DSR's API, acting as the team's deep technical expert for integrations
Deliver successful Business Intelligence integrations for customers that leverage DSR's API
Support customer migrations to the platform's most updated iteration
Support and advise customer discussions related to DSR integration with other tools in the customers' tech stack
Lead business requirements discovery for integration, data conversion, and complex business logic
Support or facilitate product demonstrations for requirements gathering and documenting solution designs
Verification of fully configured solutions to ensure it is producing expected results
Support Client User Acceptance Testing, issue triage, and resolution during solution delivery
Deliver and support DSR-internal integrations projects, such as CRM or BI data integrations
Collaborate with Sales and the rest of the Professional Services team activities through product demonstrations and participating in client discussions
Liaise with Product Development, Customer Success and Sales
Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and milestones
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to DistillerSR documentation and training materials
Work and act in accordance with DistillerSR core organizational values
Ability to travel internationally where requested by customers

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a directly related field
Minimum five (5) years experience in systems integration or software development
Knowledge of and experience working with Agile methodology
Proficiency and strong programming skills in Python, PHP, MySQL
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Customer-first approach

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
Organizational skills - ability to collaborate with team members in an agile manner
Ability to apply critical thinking to assess and prioritize issues

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace productivity suites, with the ability to learn new software and skills as required
