We are looking for a Tax Technology Trainee to join our Tax & Legal Technology Team

Join our Tax and Legal Technology team to drive digital transformation forward in the field of taxation.

Our team bridges the gap between tax & legal substance and technology. We empower clients to confidently navigate the complexities of today's dynamic business landscape, characterised by rapidly evolving tax regulations and the demand for real-time reporting. We provide strategic guidance and technological solutions that ensure compliance and efficiency of the tax functions.

What you will do

As a Tax Technology Trainee, you will be actively involved in delivering impactful and agile solutions to our clients and substance experts. Your responsibilities are diverse and engaging, including:

  • Collaborating with our top technology consultants, tax experts in Finland and the global PwC network.
  • Driving digital transformation through projects focused on data analytics, ERP implementation and process optimisation and automation.
  • Developing and testing innovative solutions under the guidance of more experienced experts.
  • Utilising both traditional and generative AI to optimise tax processes.
  • Supporting more senior team members in tasks related to background research, project management, technical documentation, preparation of proposals, demos and other sales materials.

An ideal candidate would have

  • studies within the field of tax, legal, business and/or technology
  • strong drive to use technology to optimise tax processes.
  • interest in data analytics and digitalisation. Prior experience with any of the following tools: Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, other data processing and visualisation solutions. You do not have to master all of these, but some prior exposure to them will help in getting up to speed.
  • Basic knowledge of Python is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of accounting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Finnish and Swedish are a bonus.
