We are collaborating with a crypto exchange seeking an experienced Tech Lead with a strong background in high-frequency trading (HFT) systems and low-latency trading infrastructure. It is a remore role and open to all locations.  What you’ll be doing: Lead the design and optimization of core matching and risk engines for the exchange. Develop deterministic, garbage-collection-free code for consistent performance. Analyze logs to troubleshoot complex issues and guide team members. Write reliable, production-ready code to ensure financial integrity. Implement thorough unit and integration tests for financial computations. Collaborate with engineering teams for seamless integration and performance optimization. Continuously improve the trading core to meet evolving needs. Stay updated on HFT and low-latency trading technologies. Mentor team members to promote coding and testing excellence. Work with the Quant team to develop and refine trading algorithms. What we’re looking for: 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in HFT systems. Expertise in building low-latency trading infrastructure, especially with message bus systems like Aeron or Chronicle Queue. Strong proficiency in Golang and knowledge of deterministic coding. Proven leadership in delivering complex projects. Exceptional debugging skills for analyzing logs and resolving issues. Commitment to unit and integration testing to ensure accuracy. Detail-oriented in crafting reliable, production-level code. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Interest in advancements in HFT and low-latency trading; experience in fintech is a plus. #LI-REMOTE
