About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical recruitment and a keen understanding of what it means to work at a fast paced early-stage start-up. As a Technical Recruiter at Chalk.ai, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier technical talent to drive our company's growth and success. What you will do

• Source, screen, and assess candidates for various technical positions, including software engineers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, and other technical roles.
• Utilize multiple recruitment channels, such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and recruitment events, to identify and engage with potential candidates.
• Develop and maintain a robust candidate pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
• Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Work closely with the executive team in order to understand their hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Know your data. Be able to identify process and pipeline issues, create a concise proposal, and execute the solution.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years experience as a Technical Recruiter
• Data influenced recruiting style
• Strong understanding of technical roles and technologies, including programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a passion for identifying and securing top talent.
