Job Duties: Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension. Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions. Analyze information required for the development or update of IT policies, procedures, and form documentation. Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team. Prepare instruction manuals , job aids , process and procedure documents related to Infrastructure and Patch Management Have technical accuracy in writing user documentation and create technical documentation after a thorough collaboration with subject matter experts and technical staff Converts complex documentation to easy language for multiple audiences & create process manuals and job aids with screenshots and tutorials Communicate complex ideas in a concise manner Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in a technical writing role within IT or technology-related fields. Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and instructional documentation. Experience using documentation tools and creating interactive content, such as process manuals, job aids, or tutorials. Expertise in creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including non-technical readers. Experience in developing IT policies, procedures, job aids, and process manuals. Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts, including patch management, systems administration, and network operations. Proficiency in understanding and documenting technical workflows and procedures. Basic understanding of tools like Git, ticketing systems (JIRA/ServiceNow), and infrastructure monitoring tools. Ability to generate innovative ideas for presenting technical content. Skilled in using tools like Adobe Technical Communication Suite, Microsoft Word, Confluence, or similar platforms. Strong analytical skills to identify information gaps and organize content logically. Expertise in adding visual aids such as screenshots, diagrams, and tutorials to enhance comprehension. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex ideas concisely and logically.
