The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, with the ability to implement designs into functional code. The role will prioritize design expertise but also require solid development skills Job Type: Contract Location: Remote (Canada) Essential Functions Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to continuously improve the user experience Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards Develop and implement front-end code as needed, ensuring compatibility with the overall design strategy Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer with development experience or a similar role Strong proficiency in UI/UX design principles, tools, and best practices, including wireframing and prototyping Solid grasp of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Familiarity with React JS and front-end frameworks is a must Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design techniques Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
