Job Description:We are seeking a UX Salesforce Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our Agile development pod. This role focuses heavily on user experience design, requiring someone who can establish UX/UI standards, craft intuitive and accessible solutions, and develop scalable components within Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
As a remote team member, you will collaborate with onshore, nearshore, and offshore developers and admins to deliver visually engaging and user-friendly designs. Our Salesforce platform serves a diverse user base with complex workflows, so the ideal candidate will own design decisions, set usability standards, and ensure solutions align with both business goals and technical feasibility. Additionally, this role will involve providing technical mentorship and hands-on development to optimize the platform.
Key Responsibilities
User Research & UX Design Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating findings into actionable design improvements.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that deliver intuitive, accessible, and responsive user experiences.
Define and establish UX/UI design standards to ensure consistency and scalability across the Salesforce platform.
Plan and conduct usability testing to validate designs, gather feedback, and iterate solutions for continuous improvement.
Salesforce Development Develop, test, and deploy custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, including Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Apex classes, triggers, and declarative tools (e.g., Flows, Process Builder).
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure designs are technically feasible, optimized for performance, and aligned with user needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring platform stability, data integrity, and adherence to Salesforce development standards.
Perform code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior team members.
Technical Collaboration & Support Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to align solutions with business goals and user requirements.
Support integration and migration of data into Salesforce while ensuring data integrity, security, and backup/recovery procedures.
Stay current with the latest Salesforce technologies, UX trends, and best practices to ensure innovative, user-focused solutions.
Qualifications
Design Skills Proven experience in UX/UI design within Salesforce platforms, including wireframing, prototyping, and user research.
Ability to design solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and responsive across devices.
Technical Skills Proficiency in Salesforce development, including Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWCs).
Familiarity with declarative tools (e.g., Flows, Process Builder) and API integrations.
Experience with data integration and migration into Salesforce.
Understanding of Salesforce security models, access controls, and platform optimization.
Experience working with modern databases such as SQL Server or Snowflake.
Soft Skills Strong user-first mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Certified User Experience (UX) Designer, Platform Developer I/II.
Experience working in a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or Agile methodology environment.
Experience with Gearset for deployments and version control.
Background in financial services or advisor-centric platforms.
