The Web Application Developer will work closely with the Director of Software Engineering, our Product Management team and other developers to define, design, build and maintainour browser based intranet applications. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Rapidly build, test, and deploy enhancements to our browser based intranet applications and work closely with other developers. Identify, investigate and raise architectural considerations as part of the design process to our systems and data architects, including database design, site performance, and web usability. Research and evaluate implementation options for new application features. Utilize knowledge, skills, and abilities with technology and programming languages to provide input to business process design, systems development, and project planning. Contribute to releases of great, high-quality web applications. Develop new features and enhance existing web functionality. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. Must be able to produce college transcripts showing minimum 3.0 GPA if applicable. 2+ years of Web based programming experience using JavaScript, JSON, and SQL. Experience operating in an MVC framework Development will include some or all: PHP, Node.js, jQuery, Vue, PHPUnit, Symfony, Linux/Unix, API development, usability, Shell scripting/Perl Direct Marketing Industry experience a plus Strong object-oriented design and problem solving skills ADDITIONAL DETAILS Location: Remote Department: Information Technology Compensation Range: $82,000 -109,000Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component.
