Web Developer (CMS) Remote - Canada | Contract We are seeking an experienced Web Developer with a strong background in web design and expertise in Content Management Systems (CMS) to join our dynamic team. You will play an important role in updating and improving responsive and accessible web solutions while collaborating with a cross-functional team of marketing professionals, designers, and developers. It’s a long-term contract opportunity. The engagement is fully remote. Candidates can be located anywhere in LatAm. You'll need to have good English communication skills (at least B2+ or higher) for this role. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using Java, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Collaborate with marketing professionals, designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver seamless digital solutions. Manage and customize websites on major CMS platforms (preferably Java-based CMS). Ensure responsive design across devices and optimize websites for cross-browser compatibility. Implement and maintain web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1, 508 Compliance). Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration on projects. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and design. Requirements: Education: Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred). Experience: 5+ years of web design and development experience in medium to large organizations. 3+ years of experience with one or more major CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Drupal). Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. Knowledge of web accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 and 508 Compliance (an asset). Familiarity with GitHub for version control (an asset).
