Position Overview:

As a

Web Developer and Designer , you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our websites, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with our brand identity. This position requires a blend of creative design and technical development skills, as well as a collaborative spirit to work closely with marketing and IT teams.Note:

This position can be remote or hybrid, with the requirement that you will need to be able to quickly/easily travel to the corporate location as needed.

Key Responsibilities:Website Development:

Build, update, and maintain our websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other development tools.Design Creation:

Develop aesthetically pleasing, user-centric designs that enhance the user experience and are optimized for both desktop and mobile.Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate marketing strategies and business requirements into impactful web experiences.SEO & Analytics:

Optimize website performance for search engines and integrate tools to track web traffic and user engagement.Problem-Solving:

Troubleshoot technical issues, implement bug fixes, and suggest improvements to enhance site functionality and performance.Stay Current:

Keep up with the latest web design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our digital presence is fresh and innovative.Qualifications

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Web Development, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Experience:

Proven experience in web development and design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of web projects.Skills:

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).Strong understanding of responsive design, UI/UX principles, and cross-browser compatibility.Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different teams.Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
