We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to provide technical expertise in web development, content management systems, and IT procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern web technologies, cybersecurity best practices, web accessibility standards, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities: Web Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using RedHat OpenShift and GitLab pipelines. Customize and manage content management systems, including WordPress and Drupal. Implement and manage APIs to enable interoperability and integration with external systems. Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508) and cybersecurity best practices. Procurement Support: Develop individualized requirements documentation for IT and web development projects. Prepare question-and-response documents related to procurement processes. Evaluate proposal submissions and provide detailed written assessments. Assist in IT procurement efforts, including IDIQ task order acquisition and vendor evaluations for web design services. Intranet Enhancements: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement updates or new features for internal web platforms. Ensure all intranet developments align with organizational standards and user needs. Qualifications: Technical Skills: Proficiency in RedHat OpenShift, GitLab pipelines, and modern web development tools. Expertise in WordPress and Drupal, including customization and maintenance. Experience with API integration and system interoperability. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and web accessibility regulations.
