Resolve to Save Lives (RTSL) is a US-based, global public health organization with a mission to prevent 100 million deaths from heart disease and to make the world safer from epidemics. Since 2017, Resolve to Save Lives has partnered with low-and middle-income country governments, multilateral agencies, academic and other civil society partners, and communities to implement policies and programs to treat and control hypertension, reduce sodium intake, eliminate artificial trans fats, and strengthen systems for epidemic prevention. Position Summary: Resolve to Save Lives is seeking an experienced Web Solutions Specialist to facilitate the development, deployment, and support of our websites, digital platforms, and internal collaboration tools. This role is critical in advancing our mission externally by ensuring an impactful and user-friendly digital presence that aligns with our broader communications objectives while also optimizing our internal remote collaboration environment. This is a 12-month fixed-term position with the possibility of extension to a permanent position based on business needs and mutual interest. This position is open to remote employment for candidates based in and eligible to work in the US. Core Duties and Responsibilities: Website Development & Management: Facilitate the design, development, and maintenance of Resolve to Save Lives’ web properties, ensuring scalability, brand consistency, and alignment with global audience needs. Digital Environment Optimization: Contribute guidance and development support for optimizing remote collaboration tools (monday.com, Office365, SharePoint). Support implementation and coordination of a Digital Asset Management (DAM) System, including governance standards and staff training. CRM Coordination: Coordinate the implementation and configuration of the organization's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Ensure it aligns with organizational needs and integrates effectively with other digital platforms. Collaboration with External Partners: Coordinate with external agencies for web projects, assisting the VP of IT with contracts and budgets, and ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet organization standards. Internal Team Collaboration: Partner with Communications and program teams to translate their needs into effective digital solutions, enhancing the organization's impact. User Experience & Design: Ensure web applications deliver exceptional user experiences focused on accessibility, responsiveness, and user-centric design. Collaborate with designers on interface creation. Project Management: Maintain the web project lifecycles from concept through deployment and maintenance. Assist with the development of detailed project plans, set milestones, and ensure timely delivery. Data & Analytics: Implement tools to monitor web performance, using data analytics to drive continuous improvement and optimize engagement. Compliance & Security: Work with IT security and Legal to ensure compliance with regulations and security standards (e.g., GDPR), protecting user data and platform integrity. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance digital presence and user engagement. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in managing and supporting digital environments Experience: 5+ years of experience managing web development projects Approximately three years of experience managing external resources Proven experience coordinating multiple large-scale web projects and managing vendor relationships Experience with PHP 7+, WordPress, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and performance optimization techniques Experience managing digital workplace tools like Monday.com and Office365 in a business environment Skills & abilities: Strong organizational and project management abilities, with proven experience delivering projects on time and within budget Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams Deep understanding of web development best practices, including responsive design, SEO, and accessibility Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of global health and public health issues is a plus Other: Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies Commitment to continuous improvement and innovative solutions in digital environments Compensation and Benefits Resolve to Save Lives prides itself on cultivating a supportive, connected remote team doing work that matters. We do everything possible to ensure our employees are connected and set up for success. The salary range for applicants based in the US is $78,000 to $85,000 annually. The exact offer will be determined by various factors, such as the candidate’s skills and experience relative to the requirements of the role.
