Overview We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles and a passion for creating user-friendly, high-performance websites. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress sites, ensuring a seamless user experience while adhering to best practices in coding and design. Duties Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins to enhance site functionality. Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive web pages. Implement and manage E-commerce solutions within WordPress environments. Utilize JavaScript, AJAX, and REST APIs to create interactive features and improve site performance. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites across various browsers and devices. Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO best practices. Work with project management tools such as Trello to track progress and manage tasks effectively. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development. Requirements Proficiency in WordPress development with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Solid experience with JavaScript, AJAX, REST APIs, and TypeScript. Familiarity with C# programming language is a plus. Knowledge of Azure cloud services for deployment and hosting is preferred. Experience in E-commerce platforms integrated with WordPress is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
