About the role Tidal is seeking an ambitious, resourceful, and creative Web Developer to join the marketing division of Tidal. In this role, you will be responsible for developing websites to aid in the growth of our clients’ products and refine and optimize the Tidal brand website. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage and finish projects on time. What you'll do Collaborate with clients and design teams to develop the overall look and functionality of websites Build and customize WordPress websites with a strong focus on CSS and JavaScript Produce, maintain, and modify websites and user interfaces to ensure optimal user experiences Integrate applications, graphics, audio, and video clips into client websites, enhancing interactivity Create tools, such as WordPress plugins, to improve user experience and functionality Ensure websites are optimized for SEO, accessible across multiple devices, and adhere to performance standards Routinely test and optimize websites for usability, speed, and other quality metrics Troubleshoot and resolve website issues or bugs as they arise Qualifications 5+ years experience as a developer in an agency, freelance, or in-house setting Proficiency in WordPress, with experience in other CMS platforms as a plus Advanced CSS and JavaScript skills, with an understanding of responsive design and accessibility Strong portfolio showcasing a range of web development projects Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high-quality designs and functionality Preferred BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field Experience in UI/UX design and collaboration with design teams The pay range for this role is: 85,000 - 125,000 USD per year(Remote - United States)
