We are seeking an experienced WordPress (WooCommerce) developer to join our team. In this role, you will work on a WooCommerce site hosted on WPEngine, with specific requirements for theme functionality and plugin work. Key Responsibilities: Develop and customize WooCommerce themes to support complex product catalogs for both mobile and desktop. Perform plugin development and updates to ensure theme functionality. Manage site maintenance, backups, and plugin updates. Maintain a minimal and efficient plugin set that meets the site's feature requirements. Requirements: Proven experience in WordPress and WooCommerce development. Familiarity with WPEngine hosting (not using WPEngine's commercial features directly). Able to set up post purchase upsells & fraud filters. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Experience with plugin development and customization. Ability to update and maintain themes for new features and improvements. Strong attention to detail and ability to keep the plugin set minimal and efficient. Availability to work 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST, Monday - Friday. Preferred Skills: Experience with mobile-first responsive design. Familiarity with website performance optimization. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve site issues promptly. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
