Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Workday Technical Developer Analyst. This is a direct hire role 100% remote reporting to the Manager of Workday Technical Development.
Workday Technical Developer Analyst " you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom integrations and solutions within the Workday platform , utilizing technical expertise to translate business requirements into functional Workday configurations, including custom reports, calculated fields, integrations with external systems, and complex workflows. You will be collaborating closely with functional analysts and business stakeholders to ensure system functionality aligns with organizational needs
What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong understanding of Workday HCM modules, Payroll, Financials, SCM - 3-5 years experience
Proficiency in Workday Studio development environment, including custom object creation, calculated fields, and business process design
Experience with Workday APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration tools to build data connections with external systems
Expertise in Workday reporting tools to create complex reports and dashboards
Programming knowledge (e.g., JavaScript, XML) can be beneficial
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)
Requirements Gathering:
nalyzing business needs and translating them into technical specifications for Workday customizations, including integrations, reports, and workflows.
Custom Development:
Building complex Workday solutions using the Workday Studio development environment, including custom objects, fields, calculated fields, and business processes.
Integration Development:
Designing and implementing integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems using Workday's API and integration tools, managing data mapping and data flow.
Reporting and Analytics:
Creating advanced reports and dashboards using Workday's reporting tools to provide insights into HR data, including designing complex calculated fields and data visualizations.
System Administration:
Maintaining data integrity within the Workday system, managing user access and security roles, and performing system updates and upgrades.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Thoroughly testing custom developments and integrations to ensure functionality and data accuracy, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Technical Support:
Troubleshooting technical issues related to Workday customizations and providing support to end users.
Collaboration:
Working closely with functional analysts, HR business partners, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure successful implementation of Workday solutions.
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is 110,00.00 - 140,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
