What will I be doing

Are you looking for an exciting challenge that combines your knowledge from your computer science studies with practical experience? Then you've come to the right place! As a working student (m/f/d) in the area of cloud-native development, you will support our team in the development of innovative software solutions.

The Fioneer Credit Workplace is a new product for mapping the entire life cycle of commercial real estate loans. As part of your role, you will support the team in the further development of the Fioneer Credit Workplace and its product launch process - you will take on tasks from the following spectrum:

• Accompanying the entire development process, from requirements definition to implementation and deployment of the finished application.
  
• Designing and developing modern applications in close collaboration with experienced team members.
  
• Implementation of microservices with Spring Boot (Java/Kotlin), Kubernetes, PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ.
  
• Collaboration in the containerisation and orchestration of applications with Docker and Kubernetes in the Azure Cloud.
  
• Participation in the implementation of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipelines (GitHub).

Requirements

You are currently a student in:

• Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics or a comparable STEM degree programme with above-average performance.
  

Topic Expertise:

• Advanced knowledge of written and spoken German.
• Written and spoken English.
• Independent and structured way of working with a strong focus on quality and maintainability.
• Solid knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Databases, Hibernate and message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
• Initial experience with Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Interest in cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Interest in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Interest in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Ideally, you have already gained some experience in agile and project-based work or software development
