While this position focuses on Product Engineering, there are paths that can lead to Managerial and Dev Ops positions. Roles and Responsibilities Create and optimize web app interfaces, in a simple, clear, and intuitive way using the latest technologies in JavaScript and CSS in-depth understanding of creating Progressive Web Applications (PWAs). This includes mastery over the specific technologies, methodologies, and design principles that differentiate PWAs from traditional web applications Building and Consuming RESTful APIs Ensure the quality of the software delivered with manual and automated testing Perform code reviews, code optimization, and performance tuning Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on-budget Participate in task breakdown and estimation Participate in sprint planning and retrospective Knowledge and Skills we are looking for: 4+ years experience as a Software Developer Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required. (or 8 years of relevant experience) Strong knowledge of Agile Methodologies Expert in JavaScript or TypeScript, CSS, Accessibility, and Responsive design Knowledge of Modern Front-End Frameworks (React Preferred) Experience coordinating with other developers Good Knowledge of AWS architecture and tools such as CodeCommit, Buckets, Cloud9, Amplify Professional experience using GitHub Experience implementing third-party APIs and tools (Google Maps, Facebook API, etc.) Strengths we are looking for: Strong Leadership skills Strong organizational skills Strong communication skills (English) Responsible and autonomous Quick learner Highly motivated Good team spirit Strong attention to detail Pluses: Experience working on US Government Contracts AWS GOVCloud prior experience Knowledge of Figma Passion for modern technology!
