We are looking for an expererienced

IT Specialist, Networks

to work in Ponsse Group Digital Services & IT team.  

As an IT Specialist, Networks, you will design and develop Ponsse's infrastructure and information security in a global environment using modern technological solutions. The main focus of the role is on developing the environment and designing new solutions both independently and in collaboration with suppliers. The role also includes maintenance tasks and, if necessary, on-site work.

Required Qualifications:

• Proactive problem-solving skills, self-direction, and the ability to take a long-term perspective

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to guide others and coordinate work effectively

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in designing and managing network solutions

• In-depth expertise in IP network solutions (including firewalls and load balancing), LAN solutions, network security, and network monitoring tools

• Experience in designing and monitoring cybersecurity solutions within network environments

• Strong technical documentation skills

• Flexibility and the ability to respond quickly in dynamic situations

• Fluent written and spoken proficiency in both Finnish and English

• Willingness and ability to travel to Vieremä or other Ponsse locations as required

You will work in the Infrastructure and Information Security team, which is responsible for the comprehensive development of Ponsse's infrastructure. The team of experienced specialists has a relaxed atmosphere and a strong sense of unity, enabling us to achieve common goals by supporting each other.
