Support the CMS 330 Operating Environment
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for relevant system design areas
Support software development teams with build and support tools
Design next generation of system architecture for Canada
Support development team with build related issues
Develop new systems for development operations and security
Reports to the program team lead
Working in an Agile team environment
What you bring to the role
Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited university or college in a related discipline or real world experience
Have an aptitude for solving IT problems
Willing and able to support schedule including evenings and weekends, as required
Willing to learn new skills as required by position
Have an aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment
Have a security-first mindset
Have a high degree of initiative and autonomy
Have an understanding of Linux based OS configuration
Have an understanding of Windows System administration and automated deployment
Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret security clearance and Canadian Controlled Goods
Additional skills desired for the role
Software Development Experience
Full Stack Engineering Experience
DevSecOps Engineering Experience
System Design and Architecture Experience
Familiarity with Canada's certification and accreditation process for Classified systems
Familiarity with Build Tools (Git, Svn, Jenkins, Groovy, Ansible, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with Infrastructure as code methodology and development
Experience with Agile Scrum methodology is considered an asset
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
Familiarity with BASH
Familiarity with Java and C++
Familiarity with DOORS
Active NATO Secret security clearance is considered an asset
