Piper Companies is seeking a Remote Sr. Power BI Developer to join a government organization. The Sr. Power BI Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI solutions for the Agency, collaborating with other developers, and working with business to create effective, collaborative solutions using Power Platform.
Responsibilities of the Sr. Power BI Developer include:
Develop low-code and no-code solutions using Power Platform and AGILE practices.
Advise on best standards and practices to enhance application performance and scalability.
Gather customer requirements with business analysts and identify the right Power Platform tools.
Assist in the secure implementation of Power Platform solutions, including SharePoint, model-driven and canvas Power Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
Create and maintain reliable, reusable custom components and connectors.
Design scalable, performant architectures.
Create technical documentation to support development and testing.
Qualifications for the Sr. Power BI Developer include:
Extensive Power BI experience creating visualizations for customers
Extensive DAX experience
Advanced SQL skills
Ability to design and model databases to support Power Platform applications
Demonstrated ability to create and leverage custom components to promote reliable, reusable structures
Ability to work with testing teams to create automated and unit tests, and provide test data and support to quality assurance teams
Experience with Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Business Process Flows, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Forms, Power Pages, Power BI
Compensation for the Sr. Power BI Developer includes:
Salary: $135,000 - $145,000 -- $65/hr - $75/hr
