As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the core product platform, covering everything from frontend UI and testing to APIs, low-level services, and database operations. You'll work closely with designers, product thinkers, and customers to build new product features and tools. You'll be at the forefront of product development, driving the creation of what's next.

Compensation:
This role offers a competitive salary range of $200,000 - $230,000, equity, and exceptional benefits. Final offers will be based on experience and expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop the core product for users. You’ll work across various areas of the platform, learning quickly and adding value.
• Promote engineering best practices through mentorship and team collaboration.
• Contribute to the entire product process, from concept and research to implementation and deployment. You’ll be expected to own your work and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Work directly with customers to solve problems, fostering empathy to improve the product.
• Utilize technologies like JavaScript, Node/Express, React, and Postgres. Experience with these is helpful, but support will be provided to learn.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience building backend software for high-scale systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable working across the full web stack, with a deeper passion for specific technologies or systems.
• Independent and autonomous, taking ownership of your work.
• Focused on creating seamless and enjoyable product experiences.
• Enjoy collaborating with a diverse team, bringing your unique background and expertise.
• Believe in the mission of building a better business model for content creation.
