We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help develop, support, and iterate on the frontend and/or backend functionality of our care delivery platform. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to create solutions that simplify complex care journeys for patients and clinicians.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, UX designers, QA, and tech operations teams to develop, test, secure, and scale complex platform functionality, such as:
Patient management dashboard for clinicians to monitor care journeys and communicate with patients
Care program management dashboard for clients to track program metrics
UI for care program configuration to streamline project implementations
Platform messaging services for automating patient communications
Data models and APIs for EHR system integration
Ensure security, scalability, and performance of the platform
Participate in on-call rotations and work with support teams to resolve escalated cases
Implement maintainable solutions by understanding customer pain points
Lead by example in promoting product development best practices and mentoring other engineers
Address technical debt and escalate issues as necessary
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in shipping, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-grade software
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js (Express), Python (Flask, Django, FastAPI), or Java
Experience with RESTful APIs, relational or NoSQL databases, and containerized app deployments
Test-driven development and automation experience
Familiarity with scrum methodology
Experience mentoring junior engineers
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related work experience
Bonus Qualifications:
Familiarity with DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
Experience with security and observability tools
Knowledge of integration frameworks (Mirth Connect, Mule ESB, etc.)
Experience in the healthcare industry or with startups

Remote U.S. Pay Range: $165,000 - $205,000 USD
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Full-time remote flexibility is offered, with priority given to candidates in select cities.
