Job Overview:
AYA ASSOCIATES INC., a 45+ year old Information Technology Company, and proud developers of the Comp-U-Floor Web & Mobile ERP, a world-class Enterprise Resources Management System, which includes: Point-of-Sale, Residential & Commercial Installations Management, and a full Accounting System, has an excellent opening for a Software Support Analyst - Entry/Mid Level at our Maitland, FL Headquarters.
The main duties include:
Serving as the first point of contact for our North-America customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email on our Comp-U-Floor® Web & Mobile ERP Business, Installations, and Accounting Management Software, (We will provide extensive training to the selected candidate. on our Comp-U-Floor ERP Software and all related software support needs)
Software Support areas include: Point-of-sale for Retail Flooring Stores; Sales Order Processing for Residential & Commercial Installers including: quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, shipping tickets, installation scheduling, Inventory Control, Accounting Functions: including: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.
Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions,
Providing assistance to new Clients through the Comp-U-Floor ERP Software Implementation process,
Determining the best solution based on reported issue and details provided by the customers,
Maintaining the In-house Software Support Ticket assigned to each new client request for support, through a comprehensive Team Support Software System
NOTE: We have a large highly satisfied client base installed throughout the USA and Canada. Our Cloud & Mobile Technology is very solid, and well documented; we will provide Software Support Training and assist each new Support Analyst to become proficient.
Candidate Qualifications:
We are looking for a competent Software Support Analyst (Entry/Mid Level) to provide fast and effective technical assistance on our Cloud & Mobile ERP Business/Installations Management & Accounting Software. You will answer client-questions and technical issues and offer effective advice trough their resolution.
The position requires good basic IT knowledge, plus an acceptable understanding of our Comp-U-Floor ERP (We will provide extensive training), and the ability to communicate effectively in English. (excellent verbally and written English abilities are required); Clients' requests must be carefully analyzed and satisfactorily resolved. The Software Support Analyst must be customer-oriented and possess the necessary demeanor to assure each client of a satisfactory resolution to their software-support requests..
The goal is to create value for clients and ensure that the Comp-U-Floor ERP is correctly implemented and becomes an efficient business tool for each one of our Clients.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking software assistance over the phone or email,
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions,
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers,
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process,
Re-direct any unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel within the Department,
Provide accurate information on company products and services,
Record events and problems and their resolution in our Team-Support software module - We use a highly sophisticated Software Support System, which interacts with our clients via e-mail,
Follow-up and update customer status and information,
Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team,
Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures, be proactive and ensure Client-satisfaction.
Requirements:
Good understanding of today's computer systems technology, mobile devices and other tech products,
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; Customer-oriented and cool-tempered,
Previous experience as a Software Support or Business Analyst is a definite plus,
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues,
Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases and SQL scripts is a mandatory requirement,
Understanding of Business Processes in a Retail or Distribution Environment: Point-of-sale, Inventory, Purchases, and Accounting: (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger), is also a plus.
Fundamental understanding of networks and VM configuration is a plus
Business degree in IT, or Computer Science, or Business Accounting, or relevant field preferred or Associate degree is desirable,
Basic understanding of the flooring & construction industries (where most of our Comp-U-Floor Clients are), is a plus.
