Position Overview
Netarx is seeking a talented Android Developer to join our growing development team. You will be responsible for creating advanced, user-centric Android applications that are reliable, scalable, and high performing. This is an opportunity to work on impactful projects, shaping the mobile experience of clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
Integrate with back-end services and APIs to support mobile functionality
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues
Maintain codebase integrity and adhere to coding best practices
Stay up to date with new Android development trends, technologies, and frameworks
Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and agile ceremonies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of professional Android development experience
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java and experience with Android SDK and Android Studio
Experience consuming REST APIs and working with JSON
Solid understanding of Android UI/UX design principles and Google Play publishing standards
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Excellent debugging, optimization, and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools, testing frameworks (Espresso, JUnit), and Firebase
Familiarity with Android security best practices and mobile app lifecycle management
Certifications such as Google Associate Android Developer are a plus but not required
