The Mission of the Junior Software Developer at Cozey We are looking for a skilled and resourceful Junior Full-Stack Software Developer to help develop our internal-use applications. The application you’ll be working on empowers teams across Canada and & the United States to visualize, understand and act on business-critical data. As a developer, you’ll work closely with our Growth Operations Manager and be responsible for maintaining, improving and scaling the application to meet growing business needs. The Cozey Dashboard started from a simple idea and has quickly grown into a critical platform for our operations. As the first full time developer on this application, you’ll have significant ownership, autonomy, and the chance to shape its next evolution. What You'll Be Doing Collaborate closely with your manager to design, build, and enhance features within the Cozey Dashboard. Tackle projects such as building new operational dashboards, improving data visualizations, enhancing application performance, and creating automations that support various business needs. Develop full-stack solutions using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and PostgreSQL. Develop intuitive, high-performance UIs that empower teams across Operations, Customer Service, Demand Planning, Finance, and more to easily visualize and interact with complex business data. Architect and optimize queries and APIs to support growing datasets and ensure high application responsiveness and scalability. Take ownership of the application database, working autonomously to propose schema changes, manage data pipelines, and create efficient data aggregations. Play a critical role in evolving the platform to support Cozey’s expansion into new markets and operational workflows. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience working with React,TypeScript and SQL. You’re comfortable working autonomously in a startup environment and owning feature lifecycles end-to-end. Bonus for experience with Next.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma (or similar ORM), Graphql, Shopify Admin API, Neon. A pragmatic problem-solver who enjoys iterating, learning fast, and collaborating closely on evolving product needs. Resourceful, builder mindset, strong problem solving and learning skills.
