Platform Engineer - SC CLEARED

💰 £450-£550/day | Inside IR35

📍 6-Month Contract | 5 day on site | Farnborough

A top-tier global consultancy is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support a high-profile infrastructure migration project. This is a hands-on role where you'll be instrumental in ensuring platform integrity, high availability, and automation throughout the transition.

You'll collaborate closely with infrastructure and platform teams to rebuild container environments from the ground up, configure and fine-tune OpenShift clusters and supporting services, and develop automation workflows to streamline deployment and monitoring across the platform.

As a platform engineer you will need the following essential skills

• Hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of Azure or private cloud platforms
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code - Ansible, Terraform
• Skilled in CI/CD tools
• Solid scripting skills - PowerShell, Python, or equivalent
• Experience with monitoring tools - Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana
