Overview:
We’re looking for a talented and driven System Programmer II to join our testing and automation team and help reshape the way we work through innovative RPA solutions. In this role, you’ll analyze existing business processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and identify opportunities to streamline repetitive, rule-based tasks using cutting-edge automation tools. You'll be hands-on in designing, developing, and deploying bots that mimic human actions, reducing errors and increasing efficiency across the organization. Responsibilities:
Works with Plan customers and internal teams to review and clarify test plans, testing, and construction results
Implements system enhancements and fixes to maximize our processing system's (NPS) performance
Applies sound judgment, and discretion in developing and designing computerized information systems solutions for business problems to meet expanding or changing business requirements
Codes changes in accordance with the technical design documentation and coding standards.
Provides peer reviews and walkthroughs of system enhancements
Participates in quality assurance and code reviews
Tests output against requirements to ensure the program functions as specified by the customer
Promotes code into appropriate systems while validating and monitoring the output to ensure the code works per requirements
Provides support of both model office and production environments
Researches and resolves model office and production issues so claims can be paid accurately and timely
Maintains technical design documentation for quality control purposes
Manages CSR workload by reviewing assigned CSRs to improve timely delivery and to, prevent aging
Generates ad hoc reports for the Plan customers to support research and analysis, recovery efforts, and post-implementation check out of system enhancements
Performs other duties as assigned by manager or team lead
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge and capabilities in use of mainframe and/or mid-tier applications programming and file utilities
Knowledge of software development standards, coding standards and best practices
Demonstrates understanding in functional areas and the information technology associated with those areas
Working knowledge of business software applications
Knowledge of all phases of system development life cycles
Very strong conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills are critical
Excellent time management skills in supporting a variety of projects in addition to an understanding of the ways in which information technology can be applied within the enterprise
Ability to communicate effectively when dealing with internal and external customers and suppliers both in writing and verbally
Ability to read and develop application code and macros
Ability to deal with people at a variety of levels, internally and externally
Ability to provide guidance to customers on simple system enhancements
Ability to assess and determine impacts of changes to the system
Ability to maintain awareness of state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, problem solving techniques and computing equipment
Skills in integration with existing applications, systems, API’s and UI/UX screens and applications
Skills in monitoring and maintaining RPA tools, infrastructure and technologies
Skills in scheduling and monitoring of BOT’s
Required Experience:
4 years related experience
4 years of proven experience in RPA developing and implementing technologies and associate testing strategies
4 years of proven experience working with customers and end users
Preferred Experience:
4 years of programming experience in Connect IQ, UiPath, Python, Java, or C# to write custom scripts that direct, manage, and enhance the functionality of deployed bots
Experience with the NPS or similar base platform (NPS/TPS)
Experience with RPA tools, infrastructure, processes, technologies and testing of BOT’s
Experience with ConnectIQ, Open Connect, UiPath and other RPA tools
Required Training and Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Preferred Certifications:
Certified developer in ConnectIQ or UiPath
Working Conditions:
Location: Home office / Remote
Travel: Occasional travel for meetings to the office or other areas
Participation in the on call 24/7 support team
May require after hours work if a system outage and/or security incident occurs
May work occasional weekends
